The order ensures that essential tax-related functions and administrative processes are not disrupted due to the holiday. It applies uniformly to all Income Tax offices nationwide and is intended purely for administrative convenience. The directive was communicated to senior officials and relevant departments for implementation and dissemination, including uploading on official platforms. The order highlights the importance of timely closure of financial year activities and the need for uninterrupted functioning of tax administration during critical periods.
