Constitution of Standing Committee under sub-rule (4) of rule 97 of Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 to make recommendations for proper utilization of the money credited to the Maharashtra Consumer Welfare Fund for welfare of the consumers.

Order
MAHARASHTRA GOODS AND SERVICES TAX RULES, 2017.
No. GST. 1019 / C.R. 43(A)/ Tax-1.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (4) of rule 97 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 the Government of Maharashtra, hereby, constitute a Standing Committee, to make recommendations for proper utilization of the money credited to the Maharashtra Consumer Welfare Fund for welfare of the consumers.
The said Committee shall be consist of the following members, namely :—

| 2. | Special Commissioner of State Tax | Vice Chairman |
| 3. | Joint Commissioner of State Tax-(HQ) 7, Mumbai | Member-Secretary |

| 5. | Joint / Deputy Secretary, Finance Department | Member |
| 6. | Joint / Deputy Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department. | Member |
