CBI ARRESTS A JOINT COMMISSIONER OF INCOME TAX AND THREE OTHERS IN A BRIBERY CASE OF RS.15 LAKH
The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Raipur for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.15 Lakh and three others for offering the said bribe.

The allegations in the FIR are that an Income Tax Team led by Joint Commissioner, Income Tax, Raipur conducted a survey/ search on 16-4-2012 at the factory and office premises of Raipur based Group of Private companies owned by four owners who are doing business in road construction, transport and manufacturing of sponge iron. It was further alleged that three persons acted as middlemen for the accused officials of the Income Tax Department, Raipur for negotiating/arranging and delivering illegal gratification to Income Tax officials in collusion with the businessmen.

CBI learnt from a source that the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax demanded a bribe of Rs 15 Lakh from the Businessmen through a middleman at his residence. Accordingly, on 26-4-2012, CBI team along with the independent witnesses reached near his residence at Shankar Nagar, Raipur. The middleman visited the house of Joint Commissioner and just after two Businessmen also visited the place. Few minutes later the private persons came out after delivering the bribe amount. CBI team intercepted them and on their disclosure, bribe amount of Rs 15 Lakh was recovered from the residence of Joint Commissioner, Income Tax. All the four accused were arrested

Searches were conducted in the residential premises of Joint Commissioner Income Tax at Raipur and another house at Pune. Incriminating documents were recovered.

The arrested accused persons are being produced today in the Court of Special Judge for CBI cases, Raipur.

    One man earn heavy money at Durg Distt.(C.G.) by Shir Ashwani Kumar Sharma through his son the name of Vikki nickname they are busines work of coconat his house situated near in front of the address of Maa Chandika Mandir Durg (c.g.) but he is earn heavey money through the temple also .he earn more than 2 big land on his building his situated also Panchshil nagar durg (c.g.) 3 goods carrears goods van one car and 2 motor cycle mentioned and also kept in heave earning money one shop of coconat hole sale dealer one big godowon near chhote math of Radha Krishna temple he kept on his 2 godown 4 and 5 truck nariyal i.e.coconat into the godowan and he kept unauthorized receipt book of temple to issued donetor by himself without permission of samtti members .no any shown and prepare income and expenditure sheet his relationship by Shri Kashi Nath Sharma son of late of Loknath Sharma he is a member of a Sewa Samit and also broker of land and house property seller i.e.unauthorized dealer he is also earn 40 ad 50 lacks his relationship between uncle and nephew. he is also no any return file and no any information of Sahayak Panjiyan Office Anupam Nagar Raipur (c.g.) about heave donation maony which was unauthorized work by him.Kindly pursue the above whole matter also case money half core .This is your kind information for unauthorized dealing of above type of business no any return file also properly maintain on his income tax return accordingly.he is earning money approximately 40 and 50 lacks .That means authorized work done by both name.Kindly no exposed of my name please.This is public service for property temple to his monopoly work.That is a economic aniyamitta.Please control the safe public property public maony also for social and nation according to information of corruption act told by Indian Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh.

    this is not of use this jcit will be transfer to some other department and nothing is going to happen to any one as he will offer bribe to this officer.

    In india when corruptions are so high and the govt expect the honest tax payers to pay taxes honestly then think the frustration of a common man and why one should inspire to pay the taxes, officials like this should be punished in the way that may be lesson to others and no other shuld dare to do such type of things.

    FM must give reply to the people of Indian pays taxes beyond their capacity due to heavy tax slab rates of Income Tax such official like JCIT are forcing people to do wrong doings.

    The private persons should be free. In India, no one can do business without succumbing to demand of bribe, more so, when the IT department is totally corrupt. Hope court should take care of the ground realities. There is no rule of law, there is only rule of power in the country.

    What a deptt. I served! But, even Ins[pectors are demanding and getting more than this now and the CCITs’ (and above) rates are in crores. Transfer-posting costs even dearer as apart from cash, more lively things are also demanded and procured.
