HCL Infosystems Limited, a prominent IT system integration and solutions company, has released its unaudited financial results for the quarter ending 30th September 2026. The company reported a revenue of Rs. 413 Lakhs, a slight decline from the Rs. 418 Lakhs recorded in the preceding quarter. Despite the decrease in revenue, the company has shown a reduction in its loss before tax, which stood at Rs. 1,494 Lakhs, compared to Rs. 1,668 Lakhs in the previous quarter. This improvement is primarily attributed to a lower provision of unutilised GST input tax credit by Rs. 144 Lakhs.
The financial results also highlighted a non-cash interest expense on Non-Convertible Debentures amounting to Rs. 662 Lakhs, which was charged to the profit and loss account. Commenting on the quarterly performance, Mr. Gaurav Bhalla, Manager of HCL Infosystems, stated that the company’s management is actively focusing on reducing future operational losses and is pursuing the recovery of long-overdue receivables through legal proceedings.
In line with regulatory changes, HCL Infosystems has complied with the revised statutory wage ceiling for Employees’ Provident Fund coverage, which increased from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month effective from 17th September 2026. The company continues to engage in arbitration proceedings to recover past dues from several customers and remains committed to executing residual projects while adhering to regulatory requirements. The costs associated with these activities, including legal, professional, and consultancy expenses, amounted to Rs. 526 Lakhs during the quarter, with additional provisions for unutilised GST input tax credit totalling Rs. 98 Lakhs.
As HCL Infosystems navigates these challenges, the company remains focused on maintaining effective internal financial controls and managing ongoing litigations. Analysts and market observers will likely continue to monitor the company’s efforts to stabilise its financial performance and recover outstanding dues, as these factors are crucial for its future growth trajectory.
