Dabur India Limited, a prominent player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, has reported a robust financial performance for the quarter ending 30th September 2026. The company announced an 11.7% increase in net profit, amounting to ₹505 crore, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit profit growth. This achievement comes amid a challenging external environment characterised by geopolitical uncertainties and high input costs.
The company’s consolidated revenue for the second quarter grew by 11.6% to ₹3,563 crore, marking the second straight quarter of double-digit growth. In the first half of the financial year, Dabur’s revenue reached ₹7,327 crore, reflecting an 11.1% increase. Dabur’s India FMCG business posted a 10.7% growth, with an underlying volume growth of 5.5%. The international business also performed strongly, recording a 20% growth in INR terms during the quarter, driven by robust performances in key markets such as Bangladesh, Egypt, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Turkey.
Dabur’s premiumisation strategy has been a significant contributor to its growth, with premium brands growing at four times the pace of regular brands and now accounting for 20% of the domestic business. The company’s focus on strengthening its core brands and expanding its presence across channels has been pivotal in maintaining its growth trajectory. The Home & Personal Care segment saw a 10.9% growth, led by strong performances in hair care and home care, while the Food & Beverages business grew by 17.4%.
In line with its payout policy, Dabur’s Board of Directors declared an interim dividend of ₹3.50 per share, amounting to a total payout of ₹620.88 crore for the financial year 2026-27. This decision underscores the company’s commitment to delivering value to its shareholders.
Analysts view Dabur’s consistent growth as a testament to its strategic execution and brand strength. The company’s ability to navigate a complex market environment and deliver profitable growth positions it favourably in the competitive FMCG landscape. As Dabur continues to leverage its diversified portfolio and expand its market reach, it remains well-poised for sustained growth.
