Removal of excisable goods from one warehouse to another without payment of duty – Amendment to Notification No. 266/67-Central Excise

Notification No. 26/2001-Central Excise (N.T.)

In pursuance of sub-rule (2) of rule 49 and rule 139 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance), No. 266/67-Central Excise, dated the 28th November, 1967 (G.S.R. 1771, dated the 28th November, 1967), namely :-

In the said notification, in paragraph 2, in clause (i), after sub-clause (zzzu), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely :-

“(zzzv)

Village Tabiji, (District Ajmer), Village Lavera and Village Dilwari Gaderi. (Tehsil Naseerabad), District Ajmer, Rajasthan;

(zzzw)

Village Piyala, Tehshil Ballabagarh, District Faridabad, (Haryana);

(zzzx)

Madanpur Khadar, New Delhi;

(zzzy)

Loni, District Ghaziabad, U.P.”.

In paragraph 3 of the said notification, in clause (a), for the words “Koyali and Mumbai” the words “Koyali, Mumbai and Jamnagar” shall be substituted.
