NOTIFICATION No. 35/2000-Central Excise
G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely:-

In the said notification, in first paragraph, (i) in clause (i), for the word, figures and alphabet “rule 57Q”, the word, figures and alphabets “rule 57AA” shall be substituted;. (ii) in clause (ii) for the word, brackets and figure “column (2)”, the word, brackets and figure “column (1)” and/or the word, brackets and figure “column (3)”, the word, brackets and figure “column (2)” shall be substituted. |
| 2. | 214/86-Central Excise dated the 25th March,1986 | In the said notification, (a) in the first paragraph, (i)for the word, brackets and figure “column (2)”, the word, brackets and figure “column (1)” shall be substituted; (ii) in clause (a), for the word, brackets and figure “column(3)”, the word, brackets and figure “column (2)” shall be substituted;(b) in the paragraph 2, in clause (i), in sub-clause (d), for the word, brackets and figure “column (2)”, the word, brackets and figure “column (1)” shall be substituted. |
