Notification No. 21/2003-Central Excise

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do,  hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2001-Central Excise, dated the 26th March, 2001, namely:-

In para 2 of the notification, for the words and figures “31st  day of March, 2003″ , words and figures “31st day of March, 2004″ shall  be substituted.

Note.- The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide notification No. 16/2001-Central Excise, dated the 26th March, 2001 [G.S.R. 211(E), dated the 26th March, 2001] and was last amended by notification No.23/2002- Central Excise, dated the 15th  March, 2002 [G.S.R.210(E), dated the  15th  March, 2002]
