Notification No. 6/2003-Central Excise (N.T.)
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Excise Rules, 2002, hereinafter referred to as the said rules, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such amendment, namely:-
| 1. | (i) | These rules may be called the Central Excise (First Amendment) Rules, 2003. |
| (ii) | This shall come into force on 12th day of February 2003. | |

In the said rules, rule 32 shall be omitted. |
