In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended.
2. In the existing General Notes for Textiles at Sl.No.6 the following sentence is added at the end:-
“Further, wherever import of Acrylic Tow has been allowed, acrylic fibre may also be allowed as an alternate input with the same quantity (i.e. quantity as indicated for Acrylic Tow).”
This issues in public interest.
