PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 68(RE-2005) /2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED THE 16th November, 2005

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments inHandbook of Procedures (Vol. I):

The first sub-paragraph of paragraph 4.13 stands replaced by the following clause:
The application for grant of advance licence or DFRC for intermediate supply may be made on the basis of a tie-up agreement with the exporter/deemed exporter holding an advance licenceor DFRC. The licensing authority concern shall consider such requests.

The second sentence of paragraph 4.12 should be replaced by the following sentence:
However, in case of e-commerce application, exports/supplies made from the date of EDI generated file No. for an advance licence may be accepted provided the hard copy is submitted within three months.

This issues in Public interest.
