Public Notice No. 46 (RE-2005)/2004-2009, Dated: 31.08.2005

Public Notice No. 46 (RE-2005)/2004-2009, issued on 31st August 2005 by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, announces an amendment to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. The amendment modifies Sl. No. 35 of Appendix 1, which lists the Licensing Authorities and their jurisdictions. It specifies the jurisdiction of the Development Commissioner for KASEZ (Kandla Special Economic Zone) in Gandhidham, Gujarat. The revised jurisdiction includes the Kutch district of Gujarat, units in the Kandla and Surat SEZs, and approved Export Oriented Units (EOUs) or SEZs located in Gujarat. The notice is issued in public interest.
