The Government of India, through Public Notice No. 4 (RE-2005)/2004-2009 dated April 27, 2005, announced amendments to the Handbook of Procedures (Volume I) under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2004-2009. This update specifically revised Appendix 37A, listing items eligible for export benefits under the Vishesh Krishi Upaj Yojana. The listed items include various agricultural products, minor forest produce, and other goods classified under specified chapters of the ITC (HS) Export and Import Classification. However, items categorized as “Others” at the 8-digit level in these chapters are excluded from benefits. The amendments aim to refine the eligibility criteria for exporters to ensure compliance with the policy objectives.

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I):
Appendix-37A of Handbook (Vol.I) giving the details of items which qualify for export benefits under Vishesh Krishi Upaj Yojana shall be as per Annexure-I to this Public Notice.
