S.O. (E) – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under:
- Import Policy for the item ‘Seamless Tubes / Pipes’ under 4 digit Exim Code “7304” will be amended to read as “Restricted” (instead of “Free”).
- Import policy for the following Exim Codes will be amended to read as “Restricted” (instead of “Free”) :
“2803 00 10 and 4011 20 10”
- For heading 4411, sub-headings 4411 11, items 4411 11 10, 4411 11 90, sub-heading 4411 19, items 4411 19 10, 4411 19 90, sub-heading 4411 21, items 4411 21 10, 4411 21 90, sub-heading 4411 29, items 4411 29 10, 4411 29 90, sub-heading 4411 31, item 4411 31 10, 4411 31 90, sub-heading 4411 39, items 4411 39 10, 4411 39 90, sub-heading 4411 91, items 4411 91 10 to 4411 91 90, sub-heading 4411 99, items 4411 99 10 to 4411 99 90 and the entries relating thereto, the following heading, sub-headings, items and entries shall be substituted namely:-
