S.O(E) In exercise of powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendment made upto 31.3.99), the Central Government hereby makes following amendments in Schedule 2, Table-B of the book titled ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Imports items, 1997-2002.
The following entry at code no.4101(b) relating to Hides and Skins may be amended as under:-

The exporter shall be required to register the export contract with the Council for Leather Exports indicating the price, quantity etc. |
