NOTIFICATION NO. 14 (RE-2006)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED THE 22ND JUNE 2006

S.O.(E) – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 1stSeptember, 2004 – 31st March, 2009 (as amended from time to time), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification No.55 (RE-2005)/2004-2009 dated 27th March, 2006:-

(a) “S. No.143 of Chapter 44” mentioned in Sub-Para of Para-1 shall be amended to read as “S. No.154 (a) of Chapter 44”

(b) The Sub-Para of Para-1 shall be amended to read as follows :

“ The Condition stipulated in Column 5 against S. No.154(a) of Chapter 44 of Schedule 2 of the “ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items Ist September, 2004 – 31st March 2009” shall be relaxed for a period of one month with effect from 22.06.2006 to allow export of 885.14 MT of A, B, C and D grades of Red Sanders Wood, in the form of log Obtained from the Government of Andhra Pradesh through Auction.”
