The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, issued a notification extending the “Free” import policy for Urad beans (ITC HS code 07133110) until March 31, 2026. This amendment, made under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, revises the existing policy that allowed free imports only up to March 31, 2025. S.O. 1117(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992), read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy conditions as under:
