Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, issued a corrigendum dated 25th July 2025 to amend its earlier Gazette Notification No. 40/2024-25 dated 26th November 2024. The correction pertains to a typographical change in the statutory order (S.O.) number referenced in the notification. Specifically, the original reference to ‘S.O. 7624(E)’ has been corrected to ‘S.O. 5068(E)’. This amendment is made under the authority granted by Section 3 and Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, along with provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023. The corrigendum ensures accurate referencing in official records concerning foreign trade regulations. The change has been issued by Ajay Bhadoo, Director General of Foreign Trade and Additional Secretary.

CORRIGENDUM
Subject: Corrigendum to Gazette Notification No. 40/2024-25 dated 26.11.2024-reg.
S.O. 3459(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992), read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government makes an amendment in the Gazette Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, No. 40/2024-25 dated 26.11.2024.
2. In the said Notification, the ‘S.O. 7624(E)’ may be read as ‘S.O. 5068(E)’.
