Seeks to rescind notification No. 16/2000-Customs, dated 1.3.2000 and 101/2000-Customs, dated 17.7.2000

Notification No. 21/2001-Customs

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission, namely:-

1. notification No.16/2000-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2000, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.168 (E), dated the 1st March, 2000; and

 2. notification No.101/2000-Customs, dated the 17th July, 2000, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 612 (E), dated the 17th July, 2000.
