Notification No. 109/2001-Customs

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue), No. 17/2001-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2001, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table,

(i) after S.No. 60 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

Gold concentrate imported by a gold refinery for refining into gold

Nil

-“;

 (ii) against S. No. 139, for the entry in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

“All goods imported for use in, or supply to, a unit for manufacture of paper or paperboard”.

2. This notification shall come into force on the 24th day of October, 2001.
