This notification amends 34/97-Cus., dated 7-4-97 relating to exemption to imports made under duty entitlement passbook

Notification No. 5/2000-Customs

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 34/97- Customs, dated the 7th April, 1997, namely:-

In the said notification, in condition (iv), for the words “pipavav and Dahej”, the works “Pipavav, Dahej and Mundra” shall be substituted.

Note :- The principal notification no. 34/97-Customs, dated the 7th April, 1997 was issued vide GSR 197 (E), dated the 7th April, 1997 and last amended vide notification No. 1/2000-Customs, dated the 5th January, 2000 GSR 15 (E), dated the 5th January, 2000.
