Notification No. 61/2002-Customs
WHEREAS the Designated authority vide notification published in Part I, Section I of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated the 18th January, 2002, has initiated review in the matter of continuation of anti-dumping duty on Catalysts, originating in, or exported from, Denmark, imposed vide notification No.2/98-Customs, dated the 2nd February, 1998 and has requested for extension of anti-dumping duty for an additional period of three months, pending the completion of the review;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.2/98-Customs, dated the 2nd February, 1998, namely:-
In the said notification, after paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely:-
” 3. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 19th day of September, 2002, unless the notification is revoked earlier.”
