ḍThe Ministry of Finance has issued Notification No. 37/2025-Customs, dated September 17, 2025, to amend a previous notification from July 6, 2019. This new notification, which takes effect on September 22, 2025, adds a list of items to the existing table. The newly included items, from serial numbers 24 through 41, cover a range of goods, including defense equipment and related parts. Examples of the added items are military aircraft, unmanned underwater vessels, communication devices, ejection seats for fighter aircraft, and various parts and accessories for weapons and defense systems.

G.S.R. 644(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and sub-section (12) of section 3, of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 19/2019- Customs, dated the 6th July, 2019, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 476 (E), dated the 6th July, 2019, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, after the Sl.No. 23 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely: –

2. This notification shall come into force on the 22nd day of September, 2025.
