Notification No. 127/2002-Customs
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A read with sub-section (6) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975( 51 of 1975) and Rules 18 and 20 of the Customs Tariff( Identification , assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 and sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that the notifications of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.

In the said notification, after the TABLE and before paragraph 2, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- ” Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall apply to such Zinc Oxide, in import of which the exemption under notification No.40/2002-Customs dated the 12th April, 2002 [G.S.R.281 (E), dated the 12th April, 2002] is availed of.”. |

In the said notification, after the TABLE and before paragraph 2, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- ” Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall apply to such Acrylic Yarn, in import of which the exemption under notification No. 40/2002-Customs dated the 12th April, 2002 [G.S.R.281 (E) dated the 12th April, 2002] is availed of.”. |
