By Circular dated 27 February 2026, PFRDA notified that the NPS Vatsalya Scheme Guidelines 2025, earlier issued on 07 January 2026, shall be effective from 23 February 2026. The circular also clarifies that paragraph 12 of the Guidelines must be read in conjunction with Circular No. PFRDA/2026/09/REG-PF/03 dated 23 February 2026. The notification formally establishes the operative date and cross-references related regulatory instructions.

Subject: Notification of effective date of NPS Vatsalya Scheme Guidelines 2025
It is hereby notified that all the provisions of the NPS Vatsalya Scheme Guidelines 2025 (“the Guidelines) issued vide circular no. PFRDA/2026/02/NPS-Vatsalya/01 dated 07th January, 2026 shall be deemed to come into effect from 23rd February, 2026.
2. Further, para 12 of the Guidelines shall be read with the Circular No. PFRDA/2026/09/REG-PF/03 dated 23rd February, 2026.
