The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) issued General Circular No. 04/2025 on September 29, 2025, announcing an extension for filing the annual KYC forms for Directors. The deadline for filing e-form DIR-3-KYC and the corresponding web-form DIR-3-KYC-WEB without the imposition of a fee has been extended from the previous date of September 30, 2025, to October 15, 2025. This decision was made following suggestions received by the Ministry to grant additional time to stakeholders. All relevant parties, including Regional Directors and Registrars of Companies, were notified of this extension.

Sir/Madam,
The Ministry has received suggestions to extend the time beyond 30.09.2025 for filing of e-form DIR-3-KYC and web-form DIR-3-KYC-WEB without payment of filing fee.
2. The matter has been examined in the Ministry and it has been decided to allow filing of e-form DIR-3-KYC and web-form DIR-3-KYC-WEB without filing fee upto 15th October, 2025.
