MAINTENANCE OF CLASSIFIED DATA
QUESTION
3524. MS. MIMI CHAKRABORTY:
Will the Minister of CORPORATE AFFAIRS to state:
(a) whether the Government has developed any system of maintaining classified data on the companies based categories according to their business;
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government has any plan to constitute expert groups for the firms/companies for each sector to assess their current performance and suggest appropriate measures to improve their economic conditions, if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether the Government has firmed up any new effective model for all companies to assess the actual feasibility and employment therein; and
(e) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reason therefor?

(a & b): No Sir. Ministry of Corporate Affairs as such has not developed any system of maintaining classified data on the companies based categories according to their business. However, MCA21 portal captures annual financial statements, annual returns and other required filings of Private, Public & One Person Companies in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013 and rules therein. Information as regards their business/objects are also filed by such companies in their annual returns as per NIC Codes.
(c to e): No Sir. No such expert group has been planned to be constituted by Ministry of Corporate Affairs and no such model has been firmed up. Ministry of Corporate Affairs, however, from time to time has taken various measures towards ease of doing business and ease of living for the growth and development of the corporates.
