Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs has issued Notification G.S.R. 686(E) on September 21, 2001, to amend Schedule XV of the Companies Act, 1956. The notification, issued under the powers of section 641 and section 108B of the Act, omits serial numbers 3, 4, 5, and 6 along with their respective entries from the schedule. This amendment reflects a significant update to the regulatory framework under the Companies Act.

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st September, 2001

G.S.R. 686(E) :- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 641 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) read with clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 108B of that Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule XV to the said Act, namely :-

In Schedule XV, the serial numbers 3,4,5 and 6 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
