Competition Commission of India (CCI) provides internship facility on competition law and policy to students pursuing Chartered Accountancy course. The objective of internship is to familiarize interested and willing students about the competition law and its provisions and to impart training on competition and related issues.
During internship students are given assignments to study the status of competition in a particular sector of economy related to economics, financial and legal concepts etc. involved in the competition law and policy. The period of internship will be for one month and the intern will be the under the discipline of the commission during this period and will be required to observe its working hours. The intern will be given honorarium of Rs. 8,000 during the internship period. The internship may be discontinued at any time without payment of honorarium, if the performance of the intern is not found satisfactory. A certificate along with the grading based on the performance of the intern will be awarded at the end of successful completion of internship.
