The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a rescheduling of the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination for January 2025 due to the Makar Sankranti, Bihu, and Pongal festivals. The exam originally scheduled for 14th January 2025 will now be held on 16th January 2025. The updated schedule for the Foundation Examination is 12th, 16th, 18th, and 20th January 2025. However, there is no change in the schedule for the Intermediate Examination. The ICAI clarified that the examination dates will remain unaffected even if any of the scheduled days are declared public holidays by government authorities. All other details remain consistent with the earlier announcement dated 20th September 2024. Candidates are advised to visit the ICAI website for further updates and information.

No. 13-CA (EXAM)/JANUARY/2025/II—In partial modification of the Institute’s Notification No. 13-CA (EXAM)/JANUARY/2025 dated 1st October 2024, it is notified for general information that in view of Makar Sankranti/Bihu/Pongal festivals across India, Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination, January-2025 the said examination dated 14th January 2025 stands rescheduled to 16th January 2025 and complete schedule shall now be held as per the details given below.
FOUNDATION EXAMINATION
[As per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 25 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.]

There will be no change in the schedule of Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination to be held in January-2025.
It may further be noted that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule mentioned above, being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Authority.
However, it is clarified that other particulars / details as announced vide Important Announcement dated 20th September-2024 hosted on www.icai.org shall remain unchanged.
