ICSI ECSIN SPECIAL AMNESTY SCHEME – 2023
Dear Professional Colleague,
The Institute has issued the ICSI (Employee Company Secretaries Identification Number) Guidelines, 2019, for regulation of the members in employment, thereby enabling the Institute in identifying the members in employment and facilitating maintenance of employment record of the members.
As you are aware, that due to critical maintenance activity, the online services at the portal of the Institute were impacted. The Institute considered that the ECSIN generation/ rectification functionalities were impacted and the members were not able to access these services leading to default in certain cases in compliance of the ICSI (ECSIN) Guidelines, 2019.
The Institute considering the abovementioned difficulties has decided to launch the ECSIN Special Amnesty Scheme, 2023 effective from July 21, 2023 to July 31, 2023 with a view to facilitate the members.
All active ECSIN generated or to be generated from April 28, 2023 till July 31, 2023 shall be eligible for the purpose of this Scheme.
The members who have filed e-form DIR-12 or generated/rectified ECSIN from June 15, 2023 onwards are advised to check their ECSIN records and avail benefit of the ECSIN Special Amnesty Scheme, 2023, if required.
