The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday conducted searches on the premises of realtor Emmar MGF in connection with the multi-crore illegal Hawala and investment case involving former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda.The search followed the ED finding certain documents that showed Koda’s associates on the board of certain Emaar group companies, ED sources said.

A Patent confers the exclusive right on the Patentee to make, distribute or sell the invention in India. This exclusive right is for 20 years. After 20 years, that invention becomes a public Domain. An infringement would be when any of three rights is violated. A Patentee may assign/ license all or some of these rights. The exercise of the rights so transferred in favors of the assignee or the licensee by the assignor or the licensor would not amount to infringement of the Patents.

The Government has granted sanction to State Bank of India (SBI), under Section 35(1) of the State Bank of India Act, 1955, vide Department of Financial Services’ letter dated 08.10.2009 for proceeding with the negotiation with State Bank of Indore for acquiring its business. Consequently, the scheme of acquisition of State Bank of Indore by the Stat Bank of India have been approved by Board of both the Banks.
