In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with section 136 of the Finance Act, 2001 (14 of 2001), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance.
The principal notification No.29/2004-Central Excise, dated the 9th July 2004, published vide G.S.R. 420 (E) dated the 9th July, 2004 was last amended vide notification No. 10/2005-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2005 published vide G.S.R. 130 (E), dated the 1st March, 2005.
Notification No. 14/ 2006-Central Excise G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance.
The principal notification No. 49/2003-Central Excise, dated the 10th June, 2003, was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 471(E), dated the 10th June, 2003 and was last amended by notification No. 27/2005-Central Excise, dated the 19th May, 2005 [G.S.R.325 (E), dated the 19th May, 2005.
The principal notification No. 49/2003-Central Excise, dated the 10th June, 2003, was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 47 1(E), dated the 10th June, 2003 and was last amended by notification No. 27/2004-Central Excise, dated the 9th July, 2004 [G.S.R 418 (E), dated the 9th July, 2004.
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957 (58 of 1957.
For the purposes of this notification the “retail sale price” means the maximum price at which the excisable goods in packaged form may be sold to the ultimate consumer and includes all taxes, local or otherwise, freight, transport charges, commission payable to dealers and all charges towards advertisement, delivery, packing, forwarding and the like, as the case may be, and the price is the sole consideration for such sale.
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts all the goods falling under the Second Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986
