All Regional Offices are requested to re-fix the annual average export obligation for EPCG Authorizations for the year 2013-14 accordingly. Reduction, if any, in the EO should be appropriately endorsed in the licence file of the office of RA as also in the Amendment Sheet to be issued to the EPCG Authorisation holder.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.3 and 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy Condition under ITC (HS) 4 digit code 8517 of Chapter 85 of ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – 1 (Import Policy).
In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following correction in the Public Notice No. 52 dated 25.02.2014.
Export obligation period has been reduced to six months from the date of clearance of each consignment by customs authority, wherever Natural Rubber is allowed as an input under Advance Authorisation / DFIA Schemes. Public Notice No. 81 (RE-2013)/2009-2014 Dated 09th January, 2015.
Issue of import authorisation by Regional Authorities of DGFT would commence from 9th January 2015 and end on 15th January 2015. In case, any applicant/firm is found to have submitted false or erroneous information or have made any mis-declaration / misrepresentation, such applicant/firm, (a) shall forfeit the allocation made in this Trade Notice, (b) shall be debarred from allocation of Rough Marble and Travertine Blocks in future and (c) shall be liable for penal action under the provisions of Foreign Trade (D&R) Act, 1992, as amended.
Vide the Public Notice No. 76 (RE-2013), IEC applications were mandated to be submitted online with effect from 01.01.2015. However, due to some unforeseen technical problems it has not been possible to operationalise the new online IEC system.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.3 and 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby inserts the following Policy condition as Policy Condition no. 3 under Chapter 38 of ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – 1 (Import Policy).
There shall be no changes in Para 16 of the General Notes regarding Import Policy of ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – I (Import Policy) about multi-channel GSM / CDMA receivers, transmitters and trans – receivers capable of receiving, transmitting or both, in two or more frequencies as these items shall continue to be Restricted for imports.
