I have a blend of corporate and the professional experience. Post qualification, for the first 2 years (2015 & 2016), I worked for Infosys, Globally reputed Indian Software Company and for the next 2 years (2017 & 2018) in Hiregange & Associates (H&A), the firm known for it’s expertise in Indirect taxes in India. During the above said period of association with H&A, I was actively engaged in • Conducting training session’s w.r.t. GST • Writing articles on GST • GST Impact studies for various clients engaged in multiple sectors such as Manufacturing, Construction, Hotels, Job work, Pharmaceuticals, Hospitals, EPC..etc • Assisting many entities in successful transition from old IDT regime to the GST regime and • Various assignments of reviewing the status of compliance as per the GST law. During the period of association with Infosys, I had worked in different roles in the “Financial planning and Analysis” team, where I was engaged in the following activities: • Budgeting: Preparing the quarterly Budgets, Approving the release funds against the budget, Analyzing the budgets with actual • Employee benefits: Analyzing various employee policies, increment proposals prepared by the HR team for multiple locations and the seeking approvals from CFO. • CFO Presentations: Preparing the CFO’s presentation to the board, w.r.t. the quarterly performance in the board meeting. • Onsite fitment approvals: Verifying the fitments for the employees to be sent onsite w.r.t. the profitability and approving the same • Approving the Incentive schemes: Analyzing and approving the incentives schemes proposed by the project heads and approving their disbursement. • Branch in charge for “Philippines” branch: In the last 6 months, I was sent to philippinesfor one mnth and thereafter I was in role of the finance in charge for the branch.
