"Vaibhav Gupta was admitted to practice in India in July 2014. Since then he has gained considerable experience in the field of law while practicing at Punjab and Haryana High Court and other courts in and around Chandigarh. He has pursued B.com, LLB and LLM (specialization in Constitutional, Administrative, Service and Environmental law) from Panjab Univeristy and has also completed Company Secretary Course from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Presently he is dealing with matters of constitutional law, service law, taxation, arbitration, contractual matters, corporate matters(insolvency, company petitions, M&A), land laws, labour laws and revenue and financial law, consumer disputes, commerial disputes regularly before Punjab and Haryana High Court, Delhi High Court, National Forums and other courts in Chandigarh and Delhi. He is Standing Counsel of Income Tax Department for Punjab and Haryana High Court. He is also member of Corporate Law Committee of NIRC of ICSI. He has been a sports lover throughout his student life and has played Cricket at National and State Levels. Also he has been leading Student Movements as an Office Bearer of ABVP in Panjab University during his College and University days. He is member of Bar Council of India, Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, Associate member of ICSI (ACS)."
It is the speedy and effective settlements of dispute which are the two most important attributes for the proper functioning of the justice delivery system and also important with respect to the faith of the business entities upon such system. Considering such a scenario, arbitration has emerged as an efficient alternative to the public justice delivery system.
