Before starting his own law firm, Sumit was an Associate Partner at LEXport and he spearheaded the firm’s Indirect Taxation practice areas. The expertise in core taxation and commercial laws, integrated with the understanding of various business sectors enables Sumit to deliver holistic and effective guidance to the clients from time to time.

Sumit has been instrumental in providing legal services including Due Diligence, Legal Opinions, Corporate Advisory, Legal Audits, Compliance Advice and Corporate Dispute Resolution & Litigation services. Sumit regularly appears before the various Courts and Quasi-Judicial forums, including CESTAT, NCLT and NCLAT. He has been a visiting faculty to the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
