
"Shukla Bansal is a seasoned professional in the corporate sector, a practicing Company Secretary, a peer reviewer of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), a part-time examiner, and a full-time mother. She holds a B.Com (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, a postgraduate from Delhi University, and is a fellow member of the ICSI and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICMAI). Her extensive experience of more than 30 years includes senior management positions across several leading organizations and, more recently, her own practice. Shukla has been a regular contributor of thought papers and research articles to several professional and academic journals and newsletters, spanning technical fields such as Artificial Intelligence and CSR, as well as advocating for greater visibility for women professionals. She has delivered POSH training to various educational institutions and corporates and has drafted their Sexual Harassment policies. In the last 3 years, she has conducted POSH training for more than 4,000 people, across 10+ educational and professional institutions, as well as corporates. She is acting as a POSH Internal Committee member for various companies She has received several accolades including the “Best Participant Award” in the Secretarial Modular Training Program (now, Management Skills Orientation Program (MSOP)) organized by NIRC of ICSI, “First Prize” for the research paper titled “GST- a Challenging Road Ahead” in 2016 by NIRC, “Merit Certificate” for a National Online Quiz on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 organized by Insolvency and Bankruptcy (IBBI) in collaboration with My.Gov.in. She has successfully qualified for the Online Proficiency Self-Assessment Test for Independent Directors. She is now an acting independent director in several companies. She is acting as a Speaker on Various Topics in various seminars, Webinars, and even in a classroom setup. Her book on the Limited Insolvency Examination is an ode to her continuous inclination towards academics, and is bound to arm professionals with a resource that is sure to provide them a head start while preparing for the examination. She has also acted as a member of the Women Empowerment Committee of the NIRC of ICSI for the year 2024. She is in the process of writing another book on “CSR” (Corporate Social Responsibility). "
