A chartered accountant with 21 years of post qualification experience, I am a regular speaker at various forums such as ICAI CPE Study Circles, PHD Chambers of Commerce and international forums such as Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados. I am a part of various study groups of ICAI including that for developing Guidance Note on CARO 2020 and developing a standard for small and less complex entities (Exposure draft issued by ICAI) besides other material developed by Auditing & Assurance Standards Board of ICAI. I have also recorded video lectures on CARO 2020 for the e-learning course of ICAI. My professional experience includes working with Deloitte (India), Deloitte (UK), E&Y, BDO India, Baker Tilly International (Indian member firm- Haribhakti & Co.) I was part of teams to implement global audit methodology at Deloitte India and BDO India. I have developed audit methodology for my present firm BGJC & Associates LLP where I am a senior partner for nearly 5 years.
