About

I am Dr. Vidya V Devan, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Law at the Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation (GIFT). I hold a Ph.D. from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. completed LL B from Government Law College, Kozhikode, and LL M in Taxation with second rank from, Calicut University. My research primarily focuses on Goods and Services Tax, and I qualified UGC NET in 2010.

Job Experience

I have served in the following roles Assistant Professor in Law at the Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation (GIFT) from October 2023 onwards Assistant Labour Officer at the Kerala Labour Department, from January 2023 to September 2023. Associate Professor at Bharata Mata School of Legal Studies, Choondi, Aluva, from December 2014 to January 2023. Assistant Professor (FIP) at Government Law College, Ernakulam, from June 2013 to November 2014. Guest Lecturer at Government Law College, Ernakulam, from July 2012 to March 2013. Advocate at various courts in Kerala, from 2008 to 2014.
