Notification No. 119/2008-Customs (N.T.)

New Delhi, the 12th November, 2008

S.O. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Mumbai Port, New Customs House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on:-

(i) the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra, and

(ii) the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Chennai Custom House, Chennai,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice  pertaining to M/s Navyuga Engineering Company Limited, 48-9-17, Dwarakanagar, Vishakapatnam issued vide, F.No. DRI/MZU/E/31/2007, dated the 23rd January, 2008 by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit, Mumbai.
