Kind reference is invited to the issues faced by the jurisdictional field officers in uploading orders in respect of new TRAN-1 / TRAN-2. In this regard, a meeting was held by the Pr. ADG, DGS, Chennai with the CEO, GSTN today (28/02/2023).

2. It was informed in the meeting that due to a bug in the functionality at GSTN end, issues were faced by the officers in uploading the orders passed by them for TRAN credit. It was further informed that the bug was removed by GSTN today morning and that the officers should be able to upload the orders. However, in case, officers are not able to upload such orders, it was suggested by CEO, GSTN that the officers may issue orders on file and that CBIC will be handheld by GSTN to reflect the credit in the taxpayer’s ledger.
