The Disciplinary Committee also ordered that if the Respondent fails to deposit the fine within the stipulated time i.e. 3 months in the said cases, his name should be removed from the Register of Members for a further period of 01(one) month for each such said case and that the said punishments shall run concurrently in both the aforesaid cases. Since, the Respondent failed to deposit the imposed fine as stipulated in both cases, in pursuance thereof and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is hereby notified that the name of said CA. Aggrieved by Order of the Committee, the Respondent preferred an Appeal in terms of Section 22G of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 and the Appellate Authority vide its order pronounced on 11th October, 2022 had modified the period of removal of name from 02(two) years to 01(one) year. Accordingly, in pursuance of the said order of the Appellate Authority, the notification dated 30th September, 2022 wherein the name of CA. Ganapathy Sivaprakash (Membership No. 024556) was removed from the Register of Members for a period of 2(two) years is hereby modified to the extent that the name of CA. Ganapathy Sivaprakash (Membership No. 024556) stands removed for a period of 01(one) year instead of 02(two) years w.e.f. 30th September, 2022.
