It is notified for general information that M/s. Power Finance Corporation Ltd., New Delhi, have been approved by the Central Government as company for the purposes of section 36(1)(viii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for the assessment years 1996-97 and 1998-99.
2. The approval is subject to the condition that the company will conform to and comply with the provisions of section 36(1)(viii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
