Notification No. 23/2013-Central Excise

G.S.R.  (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely:-

Note-

(1)   The principal notification No. 1/2011-Central Excise, dated the 1^st March, 2011 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R.116 (E), dated the 1st March, 2011, and last amended by notification No. 16/2013-Central Excise, dated the 8^th May, 2013, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 295 (E), dated the 8^th May, 2013.

(2)   The principal notification No. 12/2012-Central Excise, dated the 17^th March, 2012 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 163(E) dated the 17^th March, 2012 and was last amended vide notification No.20/2013-Central Excise, dated the 5^th June, 2013 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 358 (E) dated the 5^th June, 2013.
