Attention is invited to Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007, as amended and Paragraphs 4.9 and 4.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 2002-2007, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2002-2007, as amended from time to time.
2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 2002-2007, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2002-2007, as amended.
3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2 Part-II, 2002-2007, as amended, following amendment shall be made under the product group Engineering:-
“The Standard Input Output Norms (SION) at Sl. No. C-381 shall remain suspended till a final decision is taken by the Advance Licensing Committee on its review. The committee also decided that during the period of suspension of SION No. C-381, exporters may obtain advance licences under Duty Exemption Scheme on self declaration as per para 4.7 of Hand Book of Procedures from Regional Licensing Authorities concerned.”
