PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 13 (RE-2001)/1997-2002
NEW DELHI, THE 16th May,2001
In exercise of the powers conferred under Pargraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31.03.2001) the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August,1998) and as amended from time to time:-
i. In respect of entry relating to Sugar against Code No. 1701 in Table B of Schedule 2 ,the conditions (a) & (b) under column 4 i.e. “Nature of Restriction” may be deleted.
ii. The entry No. 25 relating to Sugar in Appendix 1 to Schedule 2 may be deleted.
2. The procedure of issue of Registration-cum-allocation Certificate (RCAC) by APEDA for export of sugar may be treated to have been dispensed with from 1.4.2001.
3. This issues in Public interest.
