It is hereby notified for general information that the institution mentioned below has been approved by the Secretary, Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi, the prescribed authority for the purposes of clause (iii) of sub-section (1) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, subject to the fulfilment of the following three conditions :–
(i) That the Poona District Leprosy Committee shall set up a competent research advisory committee and get its approval to all its social science research programmes from this Committee.
(ii) That the Committee shall maintain a separate account of all funds received under this exemption and utilise them exclusively for social research connected with Leprosy ; and
(iii) That the Committee shall submit an annual report to the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi, showing the funds collected under the exemption and the manner in which the funds were utilised.
