Kindly be informed that as per SBI letter Ref. No. GBD/SCC/974 dtd. 21-09-2011 SBI has agreed to accept payment from half yearly dealers & remit online to Government of Maharashtra. The said letter has been placed on the website of the sales tax department www.mahavat.gov.in and STPAM website www.stpam.org .

As per discussion with Mr. S.P.Dani, Deputy CommIssioner of Sales Tax ( in-charge of e-payment module) in case any dealer has any query on e-payment he is requested to contact the Bank Nodal Officers on the help desk numbers mentioned on the sales tax website www.mahavat.gov.in under the link :’ Instruction for e-services –
e-payment – Help Desk Numbers’.

The copies of the letters from SBI and the list of help desk numbers of various Banks and SBI help desks are attached herewith for ready reference
