The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), through Public Notice Ref. No. IRDAI/E&C/PNT/MISC/86/06/2026 dated 12 June 2026, cautioned the general public regarding the expired registration of Stareureka Insurance Marketing Pvt. Ltd. The company, having its registered office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, had been granted a Certificate of Registration (CoR) to function as an Insurance Marketing Firm (IMF) for the period from 18 May 2020 to 17 May 2023. IRDAI clarified that the CoR has expired and has not been renewed. Consequently, the company does not possess a valid registration and is not authorised to undertake, offer, provide, or render any services falling within the scope of an IMF regulated by IRDAI. The regulator advised the public not to engage with the company or any individual claiming to represent it in matters relating to insurance policies, services, or claims, in order to safeguard policyholders’ interests.

Caution to General Public on expired registration of entity by the name Stareureka Insurance Marketing Pvt. Ltd.
It is hereby notified for the information of the general public that M/s Stareureka Insurance Marketing Pvt. Ltd. (the Company), having its registered office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, was granted a Certificate of Registration (CoR) by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to operate as an Insurance Marketing Firm (IMF) for the period from 18th May 2020 to 17th May 2023. The said CoR has since expired and has not been renewed.
In view of the above, the Company does not currently hold a valid CoR and is, therefore, not authorized or permitted to undertake, offer, provide, or render any services as an IMF falling within the regulatory jurisdiction of the IRDAI.
Accordingly, members of the public are hereby cautioned and advised not to deal with the Company or with any person claiming to act as its agent, adviser, employee or representative in connection with any insurance policy, insurance service, or insurance claim.
This Public Notice is being issued in the interest of the general public and for the protection of policyholders.
